Off to Legazpi for 2 days

Day one ( August 22, 2010 - that fateful day that Binibining Pilipinas International 2009, Melody Gersbach,  met an accident, while going to Naga, and died on the spot.

We arrived at around 10:30 in the morning. I told the van driver to drop us off at Vista al Mayon Hotel. Indeed he did, he dropped us off infront of the  big wall signage – tired from the trip, and just wok e up, we jumped off the van hurriedly and proceeded to the building behind the big wall signage. We were kinda transported into a different time zone – stray dogs were barking at us, there’s a small machine shop, a house with its door opened – definitely it didn’t look like a hotel. This isn’t the hotel I saw in the internet and Gaby quipped – yes, we’re lost mommy – because the signage said – vista al mayon 355 meters ahead. We rode a tricycle, in a minute or so   we’re finally in our hotel. As I already reserved the room a day before , we headed to our room and hit the sack right away.

Gaby sleot in the van

lunchtime at Kim's Bowl

Lunchtime, we decided to try Kim’s Bowl for native dishes. We ordered for a hot bowl of tinolang manok and sizzling tanguigue. But we all ended up liking the soup so much. Fer ate the fish, which we had it take home, at the hotel ( when I and the girls are enjoying the Mexita pizza at Pacific mall)

In the afternoon, Fer stayed most of the time at the hotel.  Catching up with sleep, as usual – this is the perfect time for him to rest, away from work, stress and pressure.

Anyway, we had our dinner at Mang Inasal, in Embarcadero. Gaby loved their inihaw na manok while I enjoyed their buko juice - too much softdrinks during the entire lakwatsa.

The girls enjoyed their rides, I joined them during the train ride and the ferris wheel. While their dad have joined them in their carousel ride.

First blog

Ehem..welcome to my first blog. I have been meaning to do this for so long but hardly get the chance to do it. So, here it is now.finally, a blog of my own. Here, I will tell some stories, good or bad, nice or not, yummy or distasteful. I will now create and keep my little journal online and save the password to my children, so they would be able to read my blog and everything about their mom.

Because now that I have a brand new laptop, Asus...not a very expensive one, but I bought it out from my blood, sweat and nearly tears... I'll be more able to blog away - my dreams, my travels, my food trips...Can't wait to post pictures though.

So,here's to a fruitful years of blogging.
